The quarters help our software “see” the inside corners of your drawer as well as provide a reference scale. We highly recommend placing the quarters inside the corners of your drawer prior to taking a photo as this enables us to properly scale and provide you with a great fitting insert.

For any non-drawer-related photos, we will need the actual dimensions of your item for reference. You can place a tape measure in the photo, which we can scale.

The TOP LAYER of foam:

Our BOTTOM LAYER of 1/4″ foam comes in 3 colors: Red, Blue, Black, Yellow or you can choose “none” to have no bottom layer.

All of our foams are high density closed-cell crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE). Advantages of polyethylene are:

– Lightweight

– Cost-effective

– Superb strength and tear resistance

– High shock absorption

– Impervious to mildew, mold, rot, and bacteria

– Superior chemical and grease resistance

Since we are scaling your tools from a photo, the accuracy can depend on the quality of the photo. Our stated accuracy is +/- 1/4″ but we typically achieve +/- 1/8″.

52″ x 100″ (4.3 feet x 8.3 feet) is the largest foam insert we can make. If you require a larger piece of foam, we can place a seam or can discuss larger custom options. Please email us at: info@tracemyspace.com for more information.

If your set up includes sockets that are stood on end and you are looking for an exact fit into the foam, we recommend providing us with the outside diameter of the sockets using a caliper tool.

The Parallax Effect on the images puts our tolerances at +/-1/4″ but we often achieve +/- 1/8″. Providing us with the diameter via the use of a caliper tool, get the fit near perfect.

Yes, we all tend to have duplicate, miscellaneous or obsolete items that can be stored in an unorganized junk drawer. Our goal is to make sure the drawers you use 90% of the time are as organized as possible with your custom foam inserts. The 10% junk drawer is fine to leave as a catch all. If you find that you need 2 junk drawers, then it might be time to throw some items away 🙂

Domestic Shipping

Our shipping provider is UPS. We will email a tracking number once your order is shipped so you can track all the way to your doorstep.

International Shipping

We ship to countries around the world. We offer UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Worldwide Saver and UPS Ground Shipping. We will email a tracking number once your order is shipped so you can track all the way to your doorstep.

Depending on our current order volume and your order size, within 10-15 days of placing your order you will receive a tracing proof(s) from our Trace Team for your review.  Once the proof is approved, we will then work with you to add in your engraving if requested or, will cut and ship your order. Depending on all of these variables, on average from the time of order to the time of delivery, is about 20-30 days.

If you need an order rushed, we can try and make accommodations for this.
